Carol
Cunningham has been painting and sculpting her subjects for
over thirty years. Her primary subject was the horse until Carol
lived in Colorado for twenty years . Rendering spirit and
character in clay and bronze, Carol expanded her art to include
wildlife and has created beautiful sculptures that include
children. Carol is well known for capturing the inner spirit and
companionship of children with animals. Carol’s education and
training includes Lincoln University, Kansas City Art Institute,
Southwest Craft Center and the McNay Art Institute. Carol also has
bred and trained horses for many years, and is a past Director of
the Missouri Veterinary Museum. Carol now resides in Arizona where
she stays involved in the arts. |
